The Tomb and Face of the Pyramid King Revealed!

Mastaba 17 is a huge 4th Dynasty tomb structure at Meidum in Egypt, a stone’s throw away from the now dilapidated 4th dynasty Meidum Pyramid.

The craftsmanship is superb, it's truly enormous, and benath the mastaba there is burial chamber and a sarcophagus. Inside the sarcophagus, the bones of an individual were discovered, and in an eye-opening video by History for Granite that was released in November 2025, he presented the evidence to suggest that the body was that of King Sneferu, the most prolific pyramid builder in Ancient Egyptian history.


Amongst the bones there was even a complete skull, and in this video, I've tasked AI to try and forensically reconstruct the face, so that I can compare it to the few known statues and friezes of King Sneferu.


So watch this video, because no only do I give an overview of the magnificent Mastaba 17, I also present the evidence the bones belong to King Sneferu, because reconstructing the face and comparing it to the statues of the pharaoh
