Five Things We Could Find Behind Great Pyramid's Hidden Door

Following on from my last video where I looked at what could be waiting to be discovered in the Great Pyramid Big Void, today I’m turning my attention to the door at the end of the Queen’s Chamber Northern Channel.

And this is because the same team investigating the Big Void will first be looking behind this door to see what, if anything, lies beyond it - and this mission is more than 20 years in the making.

The door was discovered during the Pyramid Rover mission of 2002, a continuation of the work started by Rudolf Gantenbrink in the 1990s.

Pyramid Rover reached the end of the Northern Channel but didn't get to see beyond it. But it did look behind the door of in the opposing Southern Channel, and it only found a small empty space and workers markings.

The Northern Channel door is a true pyramid mystery but one that should be solved in 2026 as Zahi Hawass, Shaun Whitehead and his team, are finally set to peer behind this door, and view a part of the Great Pyramid unseen in four and a half thousand years.
