Disney's Tron is the latest special effects laden science fiction blockbuster to hit cinemas. Visually, it's fair to say that Tron is unlike anything commited to celluloid to date - a videogame brought vivdly to life. Perhaps inevitably, given the subject matter, a videogame adaptation of the movie by Bally Midway has also been released.
Frank Bough chats to the writer and director of Tron, Steven Lisberger, about how the film's distinct look was created, and how its cutting-edge computer animation compares with Disney's traditional animation heritage, before they have a bash at the arcade game.
