U.S. Officials Press Conference to Discuss Military Operation in Iran

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine are holding a news conference at the Pentagon with regard to U.S. military operation in Iran.

The United States’ top general and defence secretary are holding a news conference for the first time since the launch of the war on Iran.

Peter Hegseth and Gen. Dan Caine are expected to provide updates on the military operation, which entered its third day on Monday.

“Operation Epic Fury” began in the early hours of Saturday morning and has claimed the lives of dozens of senior Iranian officials, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Speaking exclusively to The Telegraph on Sunday, Donald Trump said the operation was “well ahead of schedule”.
