Upper Echelon | The Kids Are Getting Dumber (2026)

After a cognitive neuroscientist testified in front of US Congress, attesting to the fact that Generation Z (and Generation Alphas after them) are the first generations ever to decrease in cognitive abilities, the reality where TikTok, ChatGPT, and general screen usage in schools, is eroding basic intelligence has never been more obvious.

Having warned about the phenomenon numerous times in the past, and also having been met with ill-founded or nonsensical feedback about how its just another case of older generational bias... I wanted to revisit the topic today, and explain just how bad the issue has become.

Younger Generations, across the board, are weaker in every single cognitive faculty when compared to their parents. Something has to change.
