Trump Addresses The World after U.S. Military Action in Venezuela

U.S. President Donald Trump held a press conference following the U.S. airstrikes on Venezuela and the capture of President Nicolás Maduro.

In the conference, Trump provided details on the military operation, the involvement of special operations forces, and Maduro’s transfer to U.S. custody.

The operation marks the most direct U.S. intervention in Latin America since the 1989 invasion of Panama. Trump described the capture as a step to confront Maduro’s alleged control of a “narco-state” and his manipulation of the 2024 elections.
