Threat of Further Violence in Mexico After Drug Lord Killing

Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, known as "El Mencho”, was killed during a security operation to arrest him on Sunday, which led to a wave of violence across the country.

He was Mexico's most wanted man and leader of the Jalisco New Generation (CJNG) drug cartel - one of the most powerful and feared cartels in the country.

They then unleashed a wave of violence across 20 Mexican states, and the threat of further violence looms in the country.
