The Utter Horror of the Sinking of La Bourgogne (1898)

Summer 1898 and the SS La Bourgogne is involved in a sudden, unexpected collision. The crew rushes on deck - but instead of helping the passengers under their care they begin to attack them.

Pandemonium breaks loose aboard the ship and something has gone horribly, horribly wrong.

Ths La Bourgogne sinking is one of the most disturbing and tragic tales from the history of shipping - and it would have a an unexpected, indirect impact on the Titanic disaster just years later.
