Bieber wrote the song with producers Dijon, Mk.gee, Eddie Benjamin, Carter Lang, Dylan Wiggins, and Daniel Chetrit, alongside Tobias Jesso Jr.

The alternative pop song talks about Bieber's relationship with his wife, Hailey Bieber. It features simple lo-fi instrumentation and explores themes of insecurities and commitment in a relationship.
