Johnny Ball and the Wonder of Numbers (1977)

A lighthearted exploration into maths and science presented by Johnny Ball.

In this, first edition of Think of a Number, Johnny plays a game of bingo with the audience, considers how repeatedly multiplying a number by a factor of two can quickly lead to whopping digits, shows a neat trick for doing muliplication on your fingers, looks at a tombstone with a word game, demonstrates the art of origami, imagines a two-dimensional world, and produces holographs with a laser.
