Iran is Playing Catchup as They Lose The Strait of Hormuz

The Foreign Desk Editor-in-Chief Lisa Daftari weighs in on the Iranian government's potential next steps. “I think they're trying to play catch-up real fast,” Ms Daftari told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.

“I do believe right now they're trying to at least come up with some sort of insurance policy, some sort of backup plan in case that does fall on their shoulders to maintain the opening of the waterways.

“So if there's any sort of maritime chokeholds that affect their economies, they can then have some sort of backup plan.”
