Grok Under Fire for Obscene Content: 72-hour Ultimatum

AI was marketed as a tool to shape the future, but today it is enabling widespread harm.

Grok, X’s AI chatbot, added public image generation in 2024, which users soon exploited to create non-consensual explicit deepfakes of women and even children.

Unlike most AI tools, Grok publishes images directly on X, turning abuse into public virality.

India has issued X a 72-hour ultimatum to remove obscene content, but the platform remains silent.
