Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold Review: Pixel Imperfect

The contented sigh you just heard is the sound of a foldable fan finally returning to his preferred form factor after a month in the stifling confines of slab-land. Yes, MrMobile is back in the high life again with the colossal canvas of a pocket tablet, and all its accompanying advantages.

But as relieved as I am to return to a folding phone, I'm forced to conclude that Google's new Pixel 10 Pro Fold is only half a success story.

While it sets a new standard for theoretical durability with IP68 dust and water resistance, and finally brings MagSafe compatibility to foldables with PixelSnap, it also retains some of the most frustrating compromises that have marred foldables since the beginning – for a price tag that refuses to acknowledge those deficiencies.
