Ancient Sunken City Revealed | Storm Surge Uncovers Ruins

On Monday night and Tuesday, Storm Harry hit the Mediterranean as high waves and hurricane-force winds left behind scenes of destruction, flooding and coastal damage in Tunisia.

In Nabeul in Tunisia, they usually see just over 50mm of rainfall for the month of January, but in just one day, 151mm of rainfall was recorded, three times the month average in just one day.


And it’s the area of Nabeul that has been in the headlines, not just for the storm surge, flooding and destruction, but for something revealed by the freak weather - remnants of the lost ancient city of Neapolis.
