There is news coming out of Turkey concerning the amazing pre-pottery Neolithic site of Karahan Tepe, and no, its not related to the amazing architecture at this enormous prehistoric site, but the people that lived there, and specifically what they ate.
With finds at the sister like of Göbekli Tepe showing a more diverse range of meats being consumed, and with cereals and grains being the main plant foods being eaten, was it the same at Karahan Tepe? What was the life force of this settlement?
